New Madame Web set photos and videos preview a dramatic rescue scene. A highly-anticipated installment in the Sony Spider-Man Universe (SSU), Madame Web is directed by S.J. Clarkson from a screenplay by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama. Fifty Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson is playing the leading heroine, with previous set photos indicating her character likely is Julia Carpenter, the protege of the original Madame Web, Cassandra Webb. Other cast members in Madame Web include Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Adam Scott, and Zosia Mamet.

Now, new set photos and videos tease an intense action scene in Madame Web. They show Johnson and Scott's New York City Fire Department (FDNY) paramedics as they rush to rescue victims of a car crash on a wrecked bridge. Take a look at the various images and footage below.

If Johnson is playing Julia Carpenter, then Madame Web seems to have some changes made to her backstory. In the comics, Julia was an operative for the Commission on Superhuman Activities (CSA). But since her professions were so tightly tied to the Avengers, Sony might have opted to give her a new job to separate the superheroine from the MCU mainstays. The presence of Scott's character in an FDNY uniform is also quite interesting, refuting earlier theories that he could be playing Peter Parker in Madame Web. That said, as long as the supply of pictures and clips doesn't cease, fans will continue to learn more about the movie.
