It's been 13 years since Jersey Shore fans first heard Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi utter the phrase "party's here!" and now MTV is honoring the show's many iconic phrases and moments with a new special. The New Jersey-based reality show premiered less than a year before The Hills aired its final episode and displayed an obvious shift in what audiences wanted to watch. The shows couldn't be more opposite. While The Hills followed glamorous and wealthy 20-somethings living in Los Angeles, Jersey Shore introduced MTV fans to the middle-class guidos and guidettes who weren't ashamed to get blackout drunk while the cameras were rolling.
